The gas control panel ME 8008 is very reliable and has proven itself successfully for years.
It has been replaced by the gas control panel ME 15 since May 2016 and is no longer available.
The ME 8008 gas control panel is used in conjunction with the ME 1250 gas sensors to monitor explosive, toxic and noxious gases and solvent vapors, in central heating systems, CHP units, waste water treatment plants, process engineering plants and chemical laboratories.
The ME 8008 gas control panel can be connected to up to 8 gas sensors in 2- or 3-wire technology. The measured values are transmitted to the control panel in the form of an electrical signal via a 2- or 3-wire measuring cable.
All of the electronics are installed in an aluminum housing, which is mounted on a mounting rail DIN EN 50022 (snap-in mounting). The electronics are state-of-the-art in microprocessor technology; all operating data are programmed by software.
The gas control panel ME 8008 hardly needs any manual input. Only two buttons are available to the user for acknowledging the main alarm and for displaying the individual measured values. The LED display provides information about the function and about the alarm status of the system.
