Gas warning systems are widely used in the food industry. The most common application is the refrigerant monitoring of cooling systems to ensure the cold chains. However, toxic and explosive gases are also measured, for example in breweries and distilleries.
Carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen (N2) are mainly used as protective gases in food packaging. These gases can endanger production personnel. Measuring these gases increases the safety of production facilities, increases ventilation or alerts personnel to evacuate.
We would be happy to advise you on your individual project.
