Cooling water is used in many areas of industry to cool systems and machines. In order to keep the cooling water free from bacteria, it is enriched with chlorine and/or bromine. Chlorine/bromine levels must be regulated to achieve adequate antibacterial activity while minimizing exposure to people and the environment.
The water sensors from Müller-Elektronik AG measure the chlorine and bromine content in cooling water systems and allow the cooling water quality to be evaluated on the water controller. This panel controls the devices to keep the chlorine and bromine content in the desired range.
